Nervous System–Centered Therapy & Somatic Support

For People Ready to Feel Steady in Their Lives

Support that prioritizes regulation, self-trust, and sustainable change – not pushing through or fixing yourself.

Trauma-informed therapy and nervous-system-centered support for adults navigating stress, overwhelm, and transition.

Meet France-Claire Walker

I’m France-Claire Walker, a licensed therapist offering nervous-system-centered, trauma-informed care for adults seeking greater steadiness, clarity, and self-trust.

My work is grounded in somatic therapy, relational safety, and intentional pacing. Rather than pushing for insight or resolution, we focus on building regulation over time — so change becomes sustainable, not forced.

I work best with people who are thoughtful, sensitive, and deeply aware – often those who have spent years holding themselves together and are ready for a different way of relating to their inner world.

My approach integrates clinical therapy with a deep respect for the body’s timing. This work is not about fixing who you are. It’s about creating the conditions where your system no longer has to brace.

Somatic therapy offers a range of potential benefits that can positively impact various aspects of your well-being. By cultivating somatic awareness, you open doors to a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy & Practice Information
What therapy services do you offer in Texas?

Heart Mind Wellness offers individual therapy for adults using a somatic, trauma-informed, and nervous-system-centered approach. Therapy focuses on regulation, emotional capacity, relational patterns, and self-trust-rather than symptom management alone.

All sessions are currently offered via secure telehealth. Clients must be physically located in Texas at the time of each session.

Therapy services are available to adults who reside in and are physically located in Texas. This requirement applies to all telehealth sessions and is mandated by Texas licensure laws.

Therapy may support concerns related to anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, burnout, identity transitions, people-pleasing patterns, and relational challenges. Work is paced intentionally and guided by nervous system safety.

Yes. I work with trauma, including complex and developmental trauma, using a somatic and trauma-informed approach. Therapy prioritizes regulation, consent, and pacing to support safety and integration over time.

Somatic therapy is an approach that works with both the body and the mind. It includes awareness of nervous system responses, physical sensations, and embodied cues as part of the healing process-especially when insight alone hasn’t created lasting change.

CBT-informed tools may be incorporated when helpful, but therapy is not limited to a single modality. My primary orientation is relational, somatic, and nervous-system-centered, with sessions tailored to each individual.

At this time, the practice is focused on individual therapy for adults.

No. Therapy services are offered to adults only.

Therapy vs. Coaching & Non-Clinical Support

Therapy is a clinical service provided by a licensed mental health professional and may include diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing therapeutic support.

Coaching is a non-clinical service focused on integration, embodiment, and growth. It does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.

If you are not located in Texas, you are not eligible for therapy services due to licensure laws.

However, non-clinical offerings such as coaching, group programs, or digital resources may be available depending on the offering.

Coaching and non-clinical programs are best suited for individuals seeking nervous-system-informed growth, leadership development, and embodied integration outside of a therapeutic relationship.

These offerings are not restricted by state licensure and may be available at select times throughout the year.

If you are seeking mental health treatment or therapeutic support, therapy is the appropriate container.

If you are seeking growth, integration, or expansion outside of a clinical setting, coaching or programs may be a better fit.

You don’t need to decide immediately-clarity often emerges through initial conversations.
